The Biggest Texas Raid in the Past 20 Years

NORTHRIDGE, CA – 280 undocumented immigrants were detained by ICE authorities on Wednesday at a cellphone repair company. This is one of the largest raids done in the United States since 2008.

Another affected family is Edgar Arrublas. Her Colombian wife was also part of the raid. He’s scared of what might happen to her. She currently has a visa but isn’t authorized to work in the United States. “I feel scared, really scared right now about what might happen to her.” ua, and Honduras.

As authorities entered the building, undocumented people screamed as they were getting detained. Homeland Security Investigations has been receiving tips since last year about the company hiring undocumented immigrants unlawfully working in the country with fraudulent identification.
Family members arrived at scene sadden by the raid. Dora Hernandez attended to the United Church Methodic in the city of Allen to get legal advice. Her daughter in-law was one of the people detain in the raid. She’s heartbroken by her arrest.
